No. The fleece sits on the inside of the fabric. From the outside they look like classic sheer tights, and your boots and knee-high socks go over them as usual.

Yes. The brushed fleece lining holds in your body heat, so you can wear a skirt or a dress on cold days without freezing legs.

The band is high and wide, so it lies flat over your tummy instead of folding over. It smooths your middle and stays in place when you sit, walk or drive.
